That I'm here
even if I hide from the world.
That I care about my friends and family
even if I don't stay in touch.

Make it known that I'm tired
of the injustice, suffering,
violence and greed.
of pretending like I have to accept
and just keep moving on.

Make it known that I am suffering
even if I can functionally adult
and smile
and laugh.

Make it known that I dream
of being free
from the prickly tendrils
of a sickly society.
of making music and art
without fear of starving.

Even if no one finds my fossils
make it known
that I existed.
